August Course: The Holy Spirit

Jesus told His disciples that he would not leave them comfortless but would send a comforter.  His words were fulfilled on the day of Pentecost.  What role does the Holy Spirit play in our lives today?  What is the nature and personality of the Holy Spirit?  How should we relate to the Holy Spirit?  Using the text "The Holy Spirit Today" by Dick Iverson, students will explore the Holy Spirit in new ways and seek greater understanding of His role in their lives today.

Prospective students and other interested parties may attend the first class August 6 free of charge and with no obligation.  Those wishing to enroll, may register for the class at that time.  For financial information, see "Tuitions and Fees."  For other information, see "Admissions" or contact the college at info@cbcsclinton.com."

July Students to Experience "The Healing Christ"

Did miraculous healing end with the the Disciples or does it still operate today?  Why are some healed while others die?  Is suffering God's will?  These and other probing questions will be addressed in July's class at the Clinton Campus of Covenant Bible College and Seminary.

The text for the course is, "Christ the Healer" by F. F. Bosworth and is included with the tuition.  Those interested may attend the first class July 1 with no obligation.  Those choosing to enroll, may pay for the course at that time.  For more information on charges, go to "Tuitions and Fees."  For other information, go to "Admissions" or contact the college at info@cbcsclinton.com."

Old Testament Survey on May Schedule

Clinton Campus Director Rodney Hall, M. Min  will be back Monday evenings in May for a look at the Old Testament.  Hall believes that many Christians miss much of what God wants them to understand about the Bible because they focus only on the New Testament.  "The New Testament remains a mystery to us until it is unlocked with the key of the Old Testament.  The Bible has a 'scarlet thread' that runs from Genesis to Revelation.  To truly understand God, we must study Him in his dealings with all of history."  Hall said.

The text for the course is, "From Creation to the Cross:  Understanding the First Half of the Bible" by Albert H. Baylis.  Students interested in signing up for the course can attend the first class Monday May 7th.  They can pay for the course at that time.  For cost calculations, go to "Tuitions and Fees."  For other information, go to "Admissions" or contact the college at info@cbcsclinton.com."
